Pineapple Chicken

So Brandon works 2nd shift and that is 3pm-11pm. Since we don't have dinner together, we have lunch which is like our dinner. So today for lunch, I came up with something crazy and new, called Pineapple Chicken.

We had no idea how it was going to turn out but it turned out delicious!

Pineapple Chicken, with rice and on top of the rice is a pineapple sauce like and broccoli.

If you wanna know more about this pineapple chicken and let me know.

Brandon's Birthday

November 4th was Brandon's Birthday.

That morning, I got up at 7 and made one of his favorite breakfast, sausage gravy and biscuits.

It was so filling and yummy!

Brandon took that day off and so I made one of his favorite dinners, Chicken Alfredo and it was a nice candlelight dinner.

Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread. What is missing in this picture???

Time for dessert!

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband, Brandon!! I love you!

Answer to question: Glasses and something to drink. We sat down and then we're like there is nothing to drink, oops, so i quickly got it. haha.

Honeymoon

After the wedding and before the Washington reception, Brandon and I just stayed in Idaho and Utah and we just did our honeymoon there.

We ate Olive Garden in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

This is the new BYU-Idaho Center. It can hold all the students who go to BYU-I for their devotionals on Tuesday. It started being built in the Winter Semester 2010 when Brandon and I were there. When we first saw it we were amazed by it, it looks just like the Conference Center in Salt Lake City minus the General Authority seats and the Organ Pipes part. It really is outstanding and huge!!

For those who have been to the Conference Center doesn't it look like it??

Brandon on the balcony part of it.

Me :)

We then went to Montpelier, ID to see his Grandma (mom's mom) and over to Heyburn, ID to see his other Grandma (dad's mom). After that the next day we went down to Salt Lake City and went to Temple square.

The observation deck. The Salt Lake City Temple.

In the visitor center at Temple Square there is a pay phone! CRAZY!

After Temple Square we went to the Greek restaurant Souvlaki's. Brandon never had Greek food and he loved it!

The gyro and fries. YUMMY!

We went over to the State Capital.

Me in front of the capital.

Us in front of the capital.

Then we just hung around, and saw friends, and Jackie (I cleaned her fish tank while I was there ;) ) and then we went up to Washington that Friday.

Bridals/Wedding!!

On October 15th I got married to the guy of dreams, Brandon. We got married in the Rexburg, ID Temple.

First is some pictures of my bridals that were taken in Huber Heights, OH where his parents are from. We are now living in Fairborn, OH.

I love the purple in here! (On the right corner, it says Day, Natalie Day was my photographer)

Wedding day!

The weather was perfect for this day, as you can tell in the pictures. The very next day it was cloudy and raining. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Brandon and I walking out the doors of the Temple.

We are so happy! Best day ever!

Love it!

Our rings and my shoes with my bouquet. Stephanie Springgay did my and my bridesmaid bouquets. She did a great job. Thanks Steph, love ya!

Brandon and I on the "stairs" looking at the Temple.

Story 0f the stairs for those who have not heard it. On a Saturday in the Winter Semester of school at BYU-I, I was having a rough day because of my crazy roommates. It was about 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Brandon and I were texting each other and then I said, well I'm going on for a walk. He asked if I wanted him to come with me, and I said that I will be walking up by the Temple and if he was there I wouldn't push him away. When I got up to the Temple to clear my mind and just take a break from everything, I sat on these stairs and Brandon came up and sat next to me. (A couple hours before this Brandon in the morning at 6:30am goes up to the Temple and works in the baptistery and the Temple is about 1/2 mile away from his apartment so in the freezing cold he walked back to the Temple which is all uphill since the campus is on a hill and the Temple is on the highest point of the hill.) In the freezing cold he and I sat there and talked for about 3 hours. There I knew that I liked him and wanted to be with him. We then started dating and the rest is history, we fell in love and got married in the Temple that we both met at.

more pictures will be on my facebook in the next couple of weeks.

Jackie's 25th Birthday

HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY JACKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackie, Stephanie, and David younger....

Jackie you used to be taller than us girls ;) What happened?

On May 25th, Jackie, favorite older sister, turned 25 on the 25th so therefore it was her golden birthday. She came up to Washington and did her top 25 things she used to do in Washington as a kid.

Every year for our birthday's we would go to Las Margaritas in Redmond, however that las Margaritas is now gone and turned into something else so we had to go to Issaquah. Its not the same but its still Las Margaritas and Jackie always gets her numero catorce which is 2 enchiladas with rice and beans.

Love you!

HAWAII

So I realized with a day where I'm not doing much and I have a few minutes I figure i can update and share with what I have been doing so far. So I was able to go to Hawaii with the family I nanny for. I know how awesome is that! So we landed in Kona, Hawaii - "The Big Island" also know as the volcano Island, on Tuesday march 29th.

Elsa and I on the Airplane.

On the beach we found a sea turtle - I named it crush - from Finding Nemo. Hehe :) And it winked at me.

We got into our condo's - yes I know condo - not a hotel, cool right? Its right next to the beach. That day we went to the beach and all around there is volcanic rock everywhere and also in the ocean. so i went down to the ocean with Elsa, and as you get further into the water the bigger the rocks were. Well i stepped on one and cut my foot open - sweet i know until i found a lava rock in my foot and blood dripping everywhere on my foot. oops.

Elsa and I on the beach!

So cute - so we left early in the morning from Seattle at 6am so Vigo was probably up around 5 or earlier and Hawaii is 3 hours behind Washington, and around 8 pm here Hawaii Vigo was eating a bowl of cereal and just fell asleep. I just love the handful of cereal in his hand.

Gedde likes feeding the birds so he placed a piece of bread and ran off like thinking to himself... i didn't do anything... ;)

Vigo looking onto the roof at the birds.

After Gedde ate 2 eggs off of his Dad's plate and some other food plus his own breakfast he went over to Grandpa to eat some of his egg, but it wasn't the same as his dad so he didn't like it.

I love the sunset!!

At the beach watching the sunset with Elsa.

Elsa found a dead crab.

On Thursday we went on a hike at the valley - its a 900 ft descent at a 25% grade but its gorgeous!!! It is only a mile down - and up - but going up feels like its 5 miles! On the way back from the hike we decided to stop at this wooden playground that was huge and Gedde, Vigo, and Caelen played on it. It was fun. Gedde and Vigo loves to play outside and feed the birds, but if the birds come down and eat the food that Vigo and Gedde put out Gedde runs and chases the birds. Haha, so cute but doesn't understand the concept of that if you want the birds to eat the food you can't chase them.

Grace and Gedde on our way to the valley for the hike.

Ocean from the top.

Gedde on the swing and me pushing him - he loves underdogs! But it hurts just a little to push him because of the sunburn on my back.

Birds eating the "nest" Vigo made for them.

A movie of Vigo and Gedde setting food for the birds - with a tunnel Vigo made.

Awesome chairs outside that Elsa and I we sit in them... they are called barrel chairs.

Today - Friday, its been a laid back day. I stayed here with Vigo and Gedde and Caelen as the adults went to another town and did some touring and shopping I think - not sure where they went, haha. But We went down to the pool and I did my 1000 yards, that felt so nice to get some exercise in. Thats it - and just so far relaxing today.
